DRFC Brentford cup details

Doncaster Rovers FA Cup Third Round tie will take place on Saturday 2nd January with a 3pm kick off.

Rovers will be hoping for a repeat of their 1-0 victory at Griffin Park in the competition back in 2006 thanks to a Lewis Guy goal.

The game will be best remembered for a Mark McCammon goal, which was not given.

McCammon headed into the back of the net only for the ball to find a large hole and go behind the goal, the referee somehow didn`t see this and awarded a goal kick much to McCammon`s disgust and surprise.

If the game finishes level the replay will be at the Keepmoat on Tuesday 12th January with a 7.45pm kick off.

Isn't the net full of large holes?

There's always one, we was side on to the goal so it was hard to tell but you could see by McCammon.s reaction he couldn't believe they hadn't given a goal.

The way the club talk about how tight the finances are Rovers could do with a good cup run.
