DRFC O'Driscoll - I thought we was excellent

Sean O`Driscoll was a very happy manager after seeing his side record a first ever victory at Selhurst Park in a 3-0 rout of Crystal Palace.

Speaking on the official website O`Driscoll said 'I thought we were excellent. Palace are a difficult team to defend against and we took our chances well.
'In this division you need a little bit of luck and we took it. Regardless of the result, I told my players they were organised, our back four especially.'

Rovers won thanks to goals from on loan striker Billy Sharp who scored his sixth goal in seven games, Martin Woods and James Hayter.

It was also Rovers first away win of the season. A result that sees them climb to sixteenth in the table.

Great result for Rovers, lets hope they can now take points from the next two home games to give them some breathing space at the bottom.

Two home games now this week, if we can get four points we will be in a good position at Christmas.
