DRFC Rovers v Wednesday Preview

Doncaster Rovers welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the Keepmoat for a South Yorkshire derby on Tuesday night.

Form

Rovers
Rovers enjoyed a great win on the road on Saturday, a 3-0 victory at Crystal Palace which was their first away win of the season.

That result lifted Rovers to 16th in the table.

Rovers home form has been fairly good so far this season with them winning three, drawing five and losing just the one game.

Last time out at home they beat QPR 2-0.

Recent home form: WDWLdD

Wednesday
The Owls are in a very poor run of form at the moment taking just two points from the last seven games.

This run of results has seen them drop to 21st in the Championship.

On Saturday they lost 2-0 at home against fellow strugglers Reading.

Last time out away they drew 0-0 at Ipswich Town

Recent away form: dDLLdL

History

Rovers enjoyed their first ever home success against the Owls last season when Paul Heffernan scored the only goal of the game.

Of the other seven games, Wednesday have won five games and the other two have been drawn.
