DRFC Stock boost for Rovers

DRFC Stock boost for Rovers

Doncaster Rovers have been boosted by the news that influential captain Brian Stock is ahead of schedule in his recovery from injury.

The midfielder needed ankle surgery in September and was expected to be out until the New Year.

The good news is he is a month ahead of schedule and ready to resume training once he`s been given the go ahead by his specialist.

Stock had been in great form for Rovers once again this season and had just made his first senior international appearance for Wales against Russia.

He continues to be linked with a host of clubs including West Brom and Wolves.

Is that good or bad news? If he's fit this month it could alert the clubs chasing him again in January.

He's not been missed as much as I thought he would be.

Will be great to have him back in the side, I suppose we haven't doone badly without him.
