DRFC Woods could require surgery

Current Doncaster Rovers captain Martin Woods could require surgery to resolve his ongoing groin problem.

Woods had to be replaced at half time in the midweek win over Sheffield Wednesday and a spell on the sidelines may be required.

Boss Sean O`Driscoll speaking on the official website about the injury said 'We'll have to continue looking at that. He's had a couple of injections to try and solve it, but we may need to look at it further.'

The 23 year old has enjoyed a successful season so far making 18 league appearances and scoring 4 goals.

Be a shame, he's been playing well. Got Gillett and Spicer who could replace him and Stock is on his way back.

Stock's returned to training this week so if he can continue with painkilling injections. Or we could just give Gillett, Fortune or Spicer a run in the team again.
