DRFC Woods out till the New Year

Doncaster Rovers have been dealt a blow by the news that midfielder Martin Woods is likely to be out for between four and six weeks.

Groin as been struggling with a groin injury in recent games and was forced off at half time in last Tuesday`s game with Sheffield Wednesday.

Woods took no part in the weekend win over Bristol City and scans on his injury have revealed a slight tear.

Better news for Rovers is the possible return of club captain Brian Stock in two to three weeks after he returned to training last week, one month ahead of schedule.

They didn't miss him to much on Saturday, they do have good reserves in midfield.
