DRFC Derby v Doncaster Rovers Preview

Doncaster Rovers travel to Derby County on Saturday hoping to continue with their impressive start to December.

The Rams are in decent form at the moment and go into the game unbeaten in four.

Last time out they won 1-0 at Watford thanks to a late goal from Porter.

Last time out at home they drew 2-2 with promotion chasing West Brom.

Doncaster
Rovers have won three out of three in December and are now just five points outside the play off positions.

Last time out they beat Bristol City 1-0 at home thanks to a Billy Sharp goal, Sharp as now scored in five games in a row and eight in his last nine games.

Last time out on their travels they won 3-0 at Crystal Palace to record their first away win of the season.

History

The two sides have only ever met six times at Derby with last seasons encounter being the first ever at Pride Park.

In the six encounters, Derby have won four to Rovers one and one as been drawn.

Last season Doncaster enjoyed doing their first double over the midlands club.

Rovers won at Derby on the opening day of the season 1-0 thanks to a second half Lewis Guy goal and won the return 2-1 at the Keepmoat.
