DRFC Sharp wants to stay

Doncaster Rovers on loan goal sensation Billy Sharp insists he`s going nowhere when the transfer window re opens in January.

The 23 year old is on a season long loan from Sheffield United but his form as alerted a number of clubs, and speculation about his future at Rovers as been cast in doubt.

Speaking on the official website Sharp said "I`ve heard about the interest but I`m going nowhere. I`m loving every single minute that I`m playing for this club and I have signed to the end of the season"

Sharp continued his recent goal scoring form yesterday when he netted for the sixth game in succession and his ninth goal in his last ten games.

Under the terms of his loan arrangement with Sheffield United, they cannot call him back from the loan but they can sell him if the right offer comes in.

Rovers fans will be hoping that the club can do a deal with United and keep their leading goal scorer this season long term.

He will be a big loss if he goes somewhere else.

You know he can score goals so its not a gamble to sign him full time, if you don't want him we will have him.
King Billy
We all want him to stay, like Billy says its not much of a gamble, he's shown his form at Sheffield United can be dismissed if he;s getting the right service which he is at Rovers

Looks like Barnsley are very interested. Hopefully they can't afford him, but can we?
temaze10
I hope we can, I think we have an advantage as well in that he's very happy at Rovers.
