DRFC Doncaster v Leicester Team News

Doncaster Rovers club captain Brian Stock will be hoping for his first start since September after returning to the squad as an unused substitute at Coventry City on Saturday.

Stock has missed the last sixteen games after needing ankle surgery and he`s returned almost a month ahead of schedule.

Martin Woods is definitely sidelined with a groin injury.

Striker Martyn Waghorn is definitely missing for the visitors as he sits out the second game of a three-match suspension.

Jack Hobbs is a doubt after picking up a dead leg in the Boxing Day win over Sheffield United.

Wayne Brown is hoping to be back in contention after missing the Sheffield United game.

Bruno Berner picked up a knock in the win over Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the month, he returned on the bench on Saturday, and will be hoping to return to the starting line up for this game.

Stephen Clemence is still missing as he struggles to overcome a heel injury

Two players will line up against their former clubs, James Chambers made twenty-four appearances for the Foxes in their relegation season of 2007/08.

Richie Wellens returns to Doncaster just five months after leaving the club to join Leicester. The influential midfielder made eighty-four appearances for Rovers in his two seasons at the club. He helped them to promotion in the 2007/08 season when they beat Leeds United 1-0 in the Play off final at Wembley; his performances for the club also earned him a place in the PFA League One team of the year.

It will be good to have Stock back but I'm not sure he will start against Leicester.

Lets hope the game beats the big freeze. Should be a decent crowd in at the Keepmoat.
