The Rovers have enjoyed a good December winning four of their five games played.

History

The two sides have met 25 times at Griffin Park with Brentford having the slight edge winning ten to Rovers seven.

Rovers are in good form at Griffin Park losing on only one of their last eight visits.

The two sides have only met once previously in the FA Cup and it was as recent as 2006.

Rovers won 1-0 thanks to a first half goal by Lewis Guy but the game will probably be best remembered for the goal that wasn`t given.

Mark McCammon stooped low to head in from close range, the ball went through a hole in the back of the net and behind the goal. To the astonishment of the Rovers players the referee failed to see this and gave a goal kick.

Brentford are playing well at home and the pitch will not help Donny.

Probably be a harder game than when they was both League One sides in 2006.

I was at the game with the McCammon no goal, what I couldn't beleieve was there was hardly any complaints from the Rovers players.
