DRFC Heffernan returns to Rovers

Doncaster Rovers striker Paul Heffernan has returned to the club after his loan spell at League One side Oldham Athletic finished after the completion of his one month loan.

Unfortunately due to the freezing conditions that have been blighting the country in recent weeks he made just four starts for former Rovers boss Dave Penney and scored one goal.

The 28 year old has made just two starts for Rovers so far this season despite being the clubs leading goalscorer last season with ten goals in nineteen starts.

I think Rovers might try and get a bit of cash for him in January with his contract being up at the end of the season.

I think he will leave for next to nothing in January which is a real shame after some fantastic seasons for Rovers.

Will struggle to get much for him if his contract is up in the summer.
