DRFC Shackell extends stay

Defender Jason Shackell has extended his stay at Doncaster Rovers until the end of the season after impressing since joining in August.

The 26 year old can be recalled by his parent club Wolves at any time or be sold as part of the agreement between the two clubs.

Shackell has quickly become a fans favourite during his spell at Rovers and he`s helped the side keep four clean sheets in the last five games.

The former Norwich defender has started eighteen of the twenty three league games so far and scored one goal in the 3-1 home victory over Peterborough in October.

Great news he's here for the rest of the season, lets hope no one comes in for him.

He seems happy at Rovers so think he's definitely here for the season.

Looks like the chairman is playing his cards close to his chest. What will happen next summer if Rovers stay up?
