DRFC Elliott joins Accies

Stuart Elliott who was recently released by Doncaster Rovers has signed for Scottish Premier League side Hamilton Academical until the end of the season.

The 31 year old played in a friendly for Hamilton at the weekend and scored twice against Alloa Athletic.

The Northern Ireland international spent nearly two years at Rovers and struggled to command a regular first team place making just nine starts.

Elliott already has Scottish Premiership football experience having spent two seasons at Motherwell between 2000 and 2002.
