DRFC Sharp nominated for Player of the month
Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp is in the running for the Coca Cola Championship Player of the month.
Sharp who is on a season long loan from Sheffield United scored in four out of five games during the month.
The 23 year old has already picked up the PFA Fans player of the month for December and will be hoping to complete the double.
The striker has been in scintillating form in recent months for Rovers scoring nine goals in his last eleven appearances.
Sharp faces competition from Lee Camp - Nottingham Forest, Chris Burke - Cardiff City and Darren Pratley - Swansea City.
The winner will be announced on this Saturday`s Socceram programme on Sky Sports1 starting at 9am.
