DRFC O'Driscoll's odds slashed for Burnley job

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll has seen his odds slashed to be the new boss at Premier League side Burnley.

O`Driscoll`s odds have been shortened to 5/2 after starting the day at 25/1 according to reports on Sky Sports News.

Brian Laws who was recently sacked as boss off Sheffield Wednesday is the current favourite at 11/10 with O`Driscoll and Huddersfield Town boss Lee Clark joint second favourites.

The former Bournemouth boss was recently linked with the vacant Preston manager`s job and he was quick to reject those rumours on the official website when he said "I`ve got a good job here".

O`Driscoll has earned a very good reputation since his arrival at Doncaster, helping them to the Championship and a creditable fourteenth place finish in their first season back in the second tier of English football in fifty years last term.

After a slow start this season and working on a very tight budget Rovers have once again surprised a few people outside of Doncaster and are currently in fifteenth place.

Rovers are on a good run at the moment winning four of their last five games before the bad weather started to affect their league programme.

O'Driscoll is bound to get linked with a number of jobs, we play an excellent style of football and he's working on a much smaller budget than most Championship clubs and we are punching well above our weight at the moment. I personally think he will be very hard to replace if we lose him.

According to Sky this am now favourite for the job, do you think he'll go Daz
Tiny T
Be disappointed if he leaves as he will take some replacing and his style of football is very easy on the eye. But you cannot blame anyone who may get the chance to manage at the highest level. He's also got no money to play with at Rovers which must be frustrating.

O how I wish he'd have signed for us instead of Laws
