DRFC O'Driscoll staying at the Keepmoat

Doncaster Rovers have issued a club statement regarding the future of manager Sean O`Driscoll.

O`Driscoll as been strongly linked with the vacant manager`s job at Premier League side Burnley this week and at one stage was odds on favourite for the job.

The statement, which was released on the official website, said:

'Doncaster Rovers are pleased to announce that Sean O`Driscoll will remain at the Keepmoat Stadium.`

The club also said that an unnamed Premier League side made enquiries about his services and these are now at an end.

It`s the second time in the past month that Sean O`Driscoll as been linked with a move away from the Keepmoat, with Preston North End also showing an interest in his services in December.
