DRFC Cardiff v Doncaster Preview

Cardiff City welcome Doncaster Rovers on Saturday for a crucial Championship clash.


The Bluebird had a fantastic 6-0 win at Bristol City in midweek, the win moved them into fourth in the Championship.

Last time out at home they beat Leicester City 4-2 in the FA Cup.

The Rovers have had a bad week, after losing 1-0 at Derby in the FA Cup last weekend they got beat 4-1 at home by Middlesbrough in midweek.

The defeat by Middlesbrough saw them slip one place in the table to thirteenth.

The two sides have met thirteen times at Cardiff over the year with the home side winning eight to Doncaster`s three.

When the two sides met at Cardiff last season the home side ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.

When the clubs met at Doncaster earlier in the season the home side won 2-0 thanks to two early goals from Adam Lockwood and James Hayter.

Cardiff have scored ten goals in their last two games whilst Rovers have lost their last two. Going to be very difficult.
