DRFC Dumbuya waits on loan move

Doncaster Rovers utility player Mustapha Dumbuya will have to wait until Tuesday morning to find out whether his loan move to Bournemouth went through in time.

Bournemouth were given permission at 3pm today ahead of the 5pm transfer window deadline to make an emergency loan signing, with Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe down to the bare bones with only 13 fit players to choose from.

Doncaster boss Sean O`Driscoll was happy to help his former club out and the relevant paperwork was completed in time to beat the 5pm deadline.

However, they are unlikely to get confirmation from the Football League until Tuesday morning due to the high volume of transfer activity taking place close to the 5pm finish.

The 21 year old joined Rovers in the summer after enjoying a successful trial with the club but he`s made only one substitute appearance in the Championship so far this season when he came on in the final seconds of the 1-1 draw at Sheffield United.

He needs some regular football, soesn't look like he's shown the promise he did in pre season.

Not getting close to the first team so a bit of first team football will do him some good with Rovers not even having a reserve side.
