DRFC Rovers hoping to welcome back Shiels

DRFC Rovers hoping to welcome back Shiels

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll is hopeful that Dean Shiels will return for the weekend visit of Nottingham Forest.

Shiels suffered an ankle injury in last weekends defeat by Reading and missed the midweek draw at Leicester City.

Martin Woods and Jason Shackell (both groin), Adam Lockwood and Byron Webster (both foot) are still missing for Rovers.

Forest have no fresh injury worries but are expected to make changes after losing in midweek to Coventry City.

Robert Earnshaw, David McGoldrick and Dele Adebola will all be hoping for recalls after missing out in midweek.

He's played really well all season so it will be good he's soon back in the side.

Shiels is only on the bench, why risk him if he's not fully fit by naming him on the bench. Surely if he was fit he would be starting?
