DRFC Sheffield Wednesday v Doncaster Team News

Doncaster Rovers make the short trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night hoping to build on their recent improved form.

Rovers have brought in defender Elliott Ward on loan from Coventry City with a number of defenders missing through injury.

Jason Shackell, Shelton Martis, Adam Lockwood, Byron Webster and Gareth Roberts are all on the sidelines.

Sam Hird is expected to partner Ward at the centre of defence.

Dean Shiels returned from injury at the weekend and was included on the Rovers bench, he will be hoping to earn a recall to the starting eleven for this game.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Alan Irvine is expected to stick with the same side that beat Blackpool 2-0 last Tuesday.

Wednesday are still without Tommy Miller, Jermaine Johnson and Lewis Buxton through injury.
