DRFC QPR v Doncaster Rovers Preview

Doncaster Rovers travel to the capital on Saturday looking for another three points to continue their recent good form.

The hoops are in freefall at the moment having now gone nine games without a win.

Their last success came in the Boxing Day victory over Bristol City when they won 2-1 at home.

They have lost their last five games in a row against Scunthorpe and Ipswich at home and Nottingham Forest, Peterborough and Coventry away.

So far at home in the league this season they have won four, drawn six and lost four.

They currently sit in seventeenth place, just two points above the relegation places.

Doncaster
Rovers have rediscovered their form recently, winning their last two games against Nottingham Forest at home and Sheffield Wednesday away.

Rovers won at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night to complete their first ever double against their near neighbours and move up to tenth in the table.

So far on their travels this season they have won three, drawn five and lost seven.

The two sides have only ever met on five occasions at Rangers during their histories.

QPR have the slight edge with three wins to Doncaster`s two.

Rovers have the best overall record having won five of their seven meetings at Doncaster, with QPR winning just the one.

The two clubs have already met at Doncaster this season with the home side winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Billy Sharp and Dean Shiels.

When the two sides met at QPR last season the home side ran out 2-0 winners with goals from Dexter Blackstock and Jorge Ledesma.
