DRFC Rovers sign Arsenal youngster

Doncaster Rovers have signed Arsenal youngster Jay Emmanuel -Thomas on an initial one month loan deal.

The midfielder has been a regular for the Arsenal reserves this season, he also enjoyed a successful loan spell at fellow championship side Blackpool earlier this season.

The 19 year old scored two goals in eleven appearances during his loan spell at the seaside club.

Thomas is yet to make a first team appearance for Arsenal but as won international recognition with England at under 17, 19 and 21 level.

He will go straight into the squad for today`s game with Crystal Palace.

If he's been brought up in the Arsene Wenger mode then he should fit in really well at Rovers, a big lad at 6'2 and can play in a number of positions.
