DRFC Doncaster v Derby Match Preview

Doncaster Rovers and Derby County meet for the third time this season when they clash at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday.

Rovers form has been up and down of late, win a few, lose a few.

Last week they were on their travels twice, the enjoyed a 5-2 win at Bristol City on Saturday and followed this up with a 1-1 draw at Preston on Tuesday night.

Rovers are currently in eleventh place in the table, so far this season at home they have won seven, drawn six and lost four.

Derby
The Rams lost at Reading 4-1 on Wednesday night after using three goalkeepers and ending up with Robbie Savage in goal.

Last Saturday they beat Watford 2-0 at home.

They are currently in sixteenth place in the division, so far this season on their travels they have won two, drawn five and lost ten.

History
The two sides have only ever met on eight occasions at Doncaster; the home side have won three, Derby four and one drawn.

Rovers won the last encounter at the Keepmoat last season 2-1.

They have already met twice this season, both at Pride Park.

Rovers won the league encounter 2-0, thanks to goals from Billy Sharp and James Coppinger. They met less than a month later in the FA Cup with Derby winning 1-0, with a late goal from Jay McEveley
