So far this season at home they have won eight, drawn seven and lost four.

Recent home form: DWDLWL

Newcastle
The Magpies have filled the automatic promotion places since the off and looked destined to make an immediate return to the top flight.

They are currently ten points clear of third place and have a game in hand.

Last time out they came back from 2-0 down at Bristol City to claim a 2-2 draw.

So far this season away from home they have won seven, drawn seven and
lost four.

They have been struggling on their travels recently and have won just one of their last ten games in all competitions.

Recent away form: DDWDLd

History

The two clubs have only ever met three times at Doncaster with one draw and two wins for Newcastle.

When the two clubs met at St James Park earlier in the season Newcastle claimed all three points in the dying seconds of the game.

Doncaster took the lead through Dean Shiels in the first half.

Newcastle drew level through Andy Carroll with just over twenty minutes remaining.

In an eventful finish to the game, Doncaster missed a great chance to retake the lead when Martin Woods missed from the penalty spot.

The home side were then reduced to ten men when Zurab Khizanishvili was shown a straight red card.

Kevin Nolan broke Doncaster hearts deep into stoppage time when his placed shot found the back of the net.

Should be a good game of football.

Should be a great game, will be good to have Sharp back and Donny must be worth a few quid with Newcastle's away form in the past few months.
