DRFC Spicer joins Orient

Doncaster Rovers midfielder John Spicer has joined League One side Leyton Orient on loan for the rest of the season.

Spicer has struggled to hold down a regular first team place this season making 23 appearances, with 13 of those coming off the bench.

The London born midfielder who joined Rovers from Burnley in the summer of 2008 will go straight into their squad for Saturday`s game with Brentford.

Did well when he got a chance last season but has struggled to hold down a regular place this season.

I really liked him last season but he doesn't seemed to have been in favour with O'Driscoll and when he gets on its usually only for a few minutes (then again you could say that about all SOD's subs!)
