DRFC Rovers extend Thomas stay

Doncaster Rovers have extended the loan of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas from Arsenal for the rest of the season.

'JET ' as he`s become known since arriving at the Keepmoat as become a fans favourite during his initial month`s loan with the club, scoring three goals in six appearances

The 19 year old made his first start for the club in the 5-2 win at Bristol City and scored within five minutes of the game.

He added a second later in the half; as he was instrumental in recording Rovers biggest win of the season.

The midfielder scored one of the goals of the season in Rovers next home game when he cut in from the left hand side before unleashing an unstoppable shot from 20 yards.

Great to see he's here for the rest of the season. I think these sort of signings will be the way ahead for O'Driscoll next season as we can't afford established players.
