DRFC Rovers chasing Cally pair

According to reports on the BBC website Doncaster Rovers are on the trail of Inverness Caledonian Thistle pair Adam Rooney and Jonathan Hayes.

Both are Republic of Ireland under 21 internationals who have played a key part in getting Inverness promoted to the Scottish Premier League this season.

22 year old Striker Rooney as scored 26 goals this season in 39 appearances.

Midfielder Hayes is also 22 years old and has been an integral part of the Inverness midfield this season and as chipped in with ten goals.

Reports suggest that Rovers will be sending representatives to watch them in action this weekend against Dundee.

Rooney as just signed a new contract with the club. Both would look decent signings if true.

I think Rovers will need to take a punt on players like this to try and compete again next season.
