Hull Game Off

The pre-season match at home to Hull City is now off.

The 2003/2004 Third Divison Runners have opted to play Aston Villa and not a friendly match against the 2003/2004 Division Three Champions.

let's not forget that Hull City were also League One runners up in 2004/2005 whereas Doncaster finished absolutely nowhere. If your lot can feel consolation in that trophy then that's fine. Especially if it helps you to get over the fact that a club like Colchester (!) can progress beyond League One, whereas you lot can't even make the play offs. Again. So whilst we're playing (and beating) sides like Leeds and Sheff Wednesday, keep thinking of the trophy. It should help when you're making those long trips down to Leyton Orient and up to Carlisle. All hail the Division Three Champions!
