DRFC Stock wins second cap for Wales

Doncaster Rovers club Captain Brian Stock played almost an hour of Wales 2-0 defeat in Croatia on Sunday.

Stock won his second cap for his country when he started in Osijek before being replaced in the 57th minute.

The midfielder won his first cap for Wales in September last year when he started the World Cup qualifier against Russia at the Millennium Stadium.

Stock played in a midfield three that included St Mirren`s Andy Dorman and Dave Edwards from Wolves.

A much-depleted Welsh were beaten 2-0 by against a strong Croatian team on a very heavy pitch after heavy rain.

Wales held out until almost half time when Ivan Rakitic scored a stunning goal for the home side.

Drago Gabric sealed the win for Croatia inside the final ten minutes.
