DRFC Rovers not fancied again
Doncaster Rovers are once again amongst the sides predicted to struggle in the Championship next season according to Vital Football`s current bookmaker sponsors, Corals.
Despite Rovers finishing in mid table last season and flirting with the play off places until the end of March, Rovers are currently trading at 33/1.
The Championship is probably the most wide open it as been for a number of seasons, when the 2010/11 season kicks off. Two of the clubs who came down from the Premiership last season in Hull and Portsmouth are still in financial difficulty and expected to have to sell off a number of their first team squad before the new season begins.
Burnley who were relegated from the Premiership last season and Middlesbrough are the current joint favourites at 9/1.
Rovers opening day opponents Preston are also priced at 33/1 to win the title.
Scunthorpe United are once again favourites to go back down to League One despite a successful campaign in the Championship last season and they are currently the 80/1 outsiders.
