DRFC Ryan - No approaches for O'Driscoll

Doncaster Rovers Chairman John Ryan says the club have had no approach from any club for the services of manager Sean O`Driscoll despite him being strongly linked with both Fulham and Swansea City recently.

Speaking in the Sheffield Star, Ryan said, 'He's bound to attract interest from other clubs because he is the best manager in the Championship.
He is always going to be linked with other clubs, but I think he realises that the board are right behind him, as are the crowd.
He is building something special here and I don't think that he would want to walk away from us at this moment in time."

Ryan managed to stave off the advances, of at the time, Premier League side Burnley last season for his service but admits he might have a problem if a Premier League side came after him again.

Sean O`Driscoll and the Rovers board have been busy this week in the transfer market bringing in record signing Billy Sharp and also Simon Gillett.

After finishing twelfth last season, the club are looking set for a real push at promotion this season, so why would O`Driscoll want to be anywhere else.

I can't see him leaving Rovers for anyone at the moment unless it was a big Premier League side.

He's going nowhere, he's just got the player he wanted and he's got a great chance with Rovers in the championship this season.

I can't see Ryan allowing to leave and if he does he will want a huge settlement. He doesn't give him the sort of money he just as for him then to leave the club.
