Dyer For Donny

Rovers today completed the signing of Bruce Dyer. The 31 year old striker has signed a 2 year contract.

Despite playing for Barnsley, the six foot forward has had a decent career so far. Dyer has managed to score 100 goals in roughly 300 appearances.

Dyer started his career at Watford before joining Crystal Palace. He left the Eagles to join Barnsley before moving back south to play for Watford. He has also had spells at Millwall, Stoke and recently Sheffield United. However in the past four season he has failed to reach double-figures which must be a concern. The last time he scored double-figures was for Barnsley back in 2002/2003 when he found the back of the net 16 times.

I'm sure if he's given the right support he'll do the business up front for you. He has the experience, you just need to feed him.
