DRFC Two new trialists on show for Rovers

Doncaster Rovers again gave trials to three players in Rovers latest pre season game at Quorn FC on Wednesday night which finished in a 0-0 draw.

O`Driscoll once again including trialist Josh Payne who was recently released by West Ham and played at Askern last week, as well as two more new trialists.

Youngster Joel Grandison has joined after being released by Coventry City and plays in midfield.
He has just completed the second year of his apprenticeship at Coventry and was told by the club that he can find himself another club during the summer.

Also joining up with Rovers is Shaleum Logan who is available from his current club Manchester City and plays at full back.

The 22 year old has come through the ranks at City but as so far made just the one first team appearance back in the League Cup in 2007.

Logan as also had loan spells at Grimsby Town, Scunthorpe United and Tranmere Rovers.

He spent last season on loan at Prenton Park with Tranmere making 33 appearances for the club.

Liam Hardy and Tomos Roberts who were given a trial in last weeks friendly at Askern were not involved on Wednesday.

Good to see we are giving a fair few lads a go, the lad Payne from West Ham sounds very good.

Not sure about these two. One may be at Man City but doesn't seem to have done much when on loan at lower league sides.
