DRFC Duo in Team of the Week

Doncaster Rovers duo Neil Sullivan and Brian Stock have been included in the first Championship team of the week of the new season.

Both players have been included after both playing key parts in Rovers 2-0 opening day success at Preston North End.

Veteran keeper Sullivan rolled back the years with some great saves in the second half to stop Preston getting back into the game.

Club captain Stock was also impressive in the centre of midfield against one of his former clubs.

The team of the week is chosen by the Press Association for the top eleven performing players for their positions.

Sullivan continues to defy those that says he's past it. He's been at Rovers now for three seasons and he's still to miss a game through injury. Regarding Stock, we need to make sure we get to the end of the transfer window with him at the club.

Sullivan was brilliant and deserved the man of the match. Stock ran the midfield and sprayed passes all around the pitch.

Sullivan must have had a very good game to keep out Kasper Schmeichel.
