DRFC Doncaster v Accrington Team News

Doncaster Rovers go into tonight`s Carling Cup first round tie with Accrington Stanley already down to the bare bones due to injury, suspension and international call ups.

Rovers are without Byron Webster, Mark Wilson, John Oster, James Chambers and James Coppinger all through injury.

They also have doubts over Billy Sharp, James Hayter and Martin Woods who all picked up knocks at the weekend.

Simon Gillett will be missing through suspension after being sent off in the weekend win over Preston.

Brian Stock will also be missing as he is away on international duty with Wales.

Defender Wayne Thomas will go straight into the squad after signing for the club.

Josh Payne is likely to make his first start for Rovers after signing in the summer after his release from West Ham.

Stanley have doubts over strikers Craig Linfield and Rory Boulding who are both nursing knocks.
