Doncaster Rovers welcome Bristol City to the Keepmoat on Saturday for their first home league game of the season.

Rovers started their league campaign in terrific fashion with a 2-0 win at Preston. In midweek, they were the victims of a cup shock when they were beaten 2-1 at home by League Two side Accrington Stanley.

Bristol City
The robins have started the season by losing their opening two games. Millwall beat them at home on the opening weekend of the season 3-0 at home.
They were also the victims of a cup shock in midweek when they were also beaten by a League Two side when Southend United beat them 3-2 at Roots Hall.
They have been further rocked by the resignation of manager Steve Coppell on Thursday.

History

The two sides have met on nineteen occasions at Doncaster with the home side winning nine to Bristol City`s four.

When the sides met at the Keepmoat last season a solitary Billy Sharp goal was enough for Rovers in a 1-0 win.

Hopefully we will have some key players back, the goalkeepers on Saturday will be England and Scotland internationals.
