DRFC Doncaster Rovers v Bristol City Team News

Injury hit Doncaster Rovers will welcome at least four players into the squad who missed the midweek Carling Cup defeat.

Brian Stock returns from international duty and Simon Gillett is back after serving his one match suspension for his sending off at Preston last Saturday.

Also included in the squad are Wayne Thomas who signed for the club in the week and Ryan Mason who joined today on a one month youth loan deal.

Rovers will also hope to welcome back Billy Sharp, Martin Woods and James Coppinger who all picked up knocks in the Preston game.

Mustapha Dumbuya had to leave the pitch late into Tuesday`s game with cramp and will also be in the squad.

Still out are James Chambers, Byron Webster, John Oster and Mark Wilson will long term injuries.

James Hayter was added to the casualty list on Tuesday when he went off with a hamstring injury.

Bristol City will welcome back goalkeeper David James after he missed the midweek cup loss at Southend when he was rested.

New signings Jimmy Keohane and Patrick Hoban will go straight into the squad.

City will be without strikers Nicky Maynard, who is out for four months and Sam Vokes who was injured on the opening day.

Also out are Louis Carey, Christian Ribeiro, James Wilson, Lewis Nyatanga, and Kalifa Cisse through injury.

Thankgod we have some coming back, then again when you look at City's injury list they have quite a few missing as well.
