DRFC Hayter out for 6-8 weeks

James Hayter is to spend around two months on the sidelines after the results of the scan on his hamstring showed a significant tear.

He was sent for scans on Thursday and the result has shown a significant tear and around six to eight weeks on the sidelines.

Hayter suffered the hamstring injury in the closing stages of Tuesday nights Carling Cup defeat to Accrington Stanley.

The striker had started the season well last weekend when he scored Rovers second goal in the 2-0 win at Preston North End.

Gutted for him, it looked a bad injury when it occured.

With him out for best part of two months I am hoping that O'Driscoll is going to bring in a few more players before the window closes. Then again yesterdays poor crowd isn't exactly going to please the board with the money hey have invested during the summer to want to give O'Driscoll anymore cash.
