DRFC Thomas to see a specialist

Doncaster Rovers are anxiously waiting on the injury news of recent recruit Wayne Thomas, who suffered a knee injury in training last week.

The defender is set to see the specialist who as already done some work on his knee, this week to find out the full extent.

Rovers boss Sean 'O`Driscoll speaking on the official website said, 'At the time it looked quite serious, but it has settled down a bit now.
'It could be quite serious, but he's an experienced boy and he's come in and said that it feels a lot better. We just have our fingers crossed that he will be okay.'

The 31 year old recently joined Rovers after being released by Southampton at the end of last season. He has so far made two appearances for Rovers and made his first start in the previous weekends defeat at Cardiff City.
