DRFC Doncaster v Norwich Match Officials

DRFC Doncaster v Norwich Match Officials

Eddie Ilderton will be the man in charge when Doncaster Rovers welcome Norwich City to the Keepmoat on Tuesday night.

The North East official has taken charge of 5 games so far this season, showing 12 yellow cards only.

He was in charge of Doncaster twice last season with them enjoying 2-0 victories in both. He officiated the early season 2-0 home win over Cardiff City and was in charge again when they won the South Yorkshire derby at Sheffield Wednesday in February.

He took charge of just one Norwich game last season in their shock 3-1 defeat at Tranmere Rovers on Easter Friday.

He wasn`t the toast of Norfolk on that afternoon when he awarded Tranmere two penalties in the opening twelve minutes and also sent off their goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

Referee: E. L Ilderton (Tyne & Wear)
Assistants: M. J Denton & P.C Wright
Fourth Official: S.P Bennett

I can remember watching the Tranmere v Morwich game, think he will come in for some stick from the Canaries tomorrow night.

Lets hope he doesn't feel he owes Norwich a favour and trys to even things up a bit. We get enough bad decisions from the referees ourself.
