DRFC O'Driscoll happy with performance

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll was happy with his sides performance after picking up their first point in three games in the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.

O`Driscoll, speaking on the official website said, 'I thought it was a difficult game for us off the back of two really good performances and no points. After disappointments like that sometimes performance levels can drop but ours didn't and I was pleased with the way we played."

The manager has seen his side play really well in their last two away games and come away with nothing and he must have thought it was about to happen again when Forest took the lead half way through the first half through Dexter Blackstock.

Rovers response was almost immediate when Adam Lockwood scored his first goal of the season.

Rovers could have quite easily have claimed all three points in the second half with Hayter, Wilson and Sharp all going close to giving them the lead.

Two points from the last twelve and we have slipped into the bottom half. we need to start getting some wins under our belt.

Need to start picking up three points, the crowds are dwindling at the Keepmoat. Less than 11,000 for the Forest game. I can see Ryan selling a few to balance the books a bit better if the crowds don't get much better and the only way that is going to happen is if we are competing near the top.
