DRFC Stock out of Wales squad

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Brian Stock has pulled out of the latest Wales squad to face Bulgaria and Switzerland next week.

Stock was called up last week by new Wales caretaker manager Brian Flynn for their two European qualifiers despite only being named on the bench for Rovers last five games.

Stock hasn`t completed ninety minutes for Rovers since August and pulled out of Wales last European qualifier against Montenegro at the start of September.

The 28 year old has been struggling with a reoccurrence of the back injury that forced him to need surgery last season.

Thats why he's only been on the bench then in recent weeks. He'sstill not fully fit. I can see this back problem endng his career prematurely

I was surprised when he got included in the squad.
