DRFC Scunthorpe v Doncaster Match Officials

Young Premiership referee Michael Oliver will be in charge of the lunchtime clash between Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

The 25 year old is enjoying his first season refereeing in the Premier League having only refereed his first game in the Football League in 2007.

So far this season he`s taken charge of 7 games, showing 25 yellow cards and 3 reds.

Last season he took charge of 27 games, showing 74 yellow cards and 7 reds.

The last time he was in charge of Scunthorpe was in last season`s Carling Cup when they lost 5-1 at Manchester City.

His last game in charge of Doncaster was also last season when they drew 3-3 at home against Blackpool.

He doesn't look out of his depth in the Premiership and is quickly getting a good reputation. After last season he can only be better.
