DRFC Fairhurst returns to Rovers

Young Doncaster Rovers striker Waide Fairhurst has returned to the club after one month on loan at League Two side Southend United.

Fairhurst made just two starts and one brief substitute`s appearance without scoring for the Shrimpers before suffering a back injury that saw him return to the Keepmoat for treatment.

The 21 year old started the first two games of his loan spell against Chesterfield and Crewe Alexandra and was substituted in both games. His last appearance came as a last minute substitute at Bury.

I thought he'd do ok at Southend. Wouldn't be surprised to see him loaned out again very soon.
