DRFC Burnley v Doncaster Rovers Match Officials

Rob Shoebridge will be the man with the whistle when Doncaster Rovers travel to Turf Moor to face Burnley on Tuesday night.

The Derbyshire official has taken charge of 12 games so far this season showing 22 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Last season he took charge of 31 games showing 69 yellow cards and 1 red.

His last game in charge of Burnley was during the 2008/09 season when they drew 1-1 at Ipswich Town.

The last time he was in charge of Doncaster Rovers was last season over the Christmas period at Coventry. In that game he awarded the home side two penalties as they claimed all three points in a 1-0 win.

Lets hope he's not giving penalties against Rovers this time!

We never get the rub of the green with the referee's John Ryan and some of the small Premiership clubs are right with the 'small club syndrome'. Burnley probably had to put up with it last season so they will know how we feel.
