DRFC Rovers sign defender

Doncaster Rovers have signed Dennis Souza on a short term deal pending international clearance for the Brazilian defender.

Souza has been enjoying a trial at the Keepmoat for the past month after being released by Qatar side Al-Sailiya Sports Club.

The Brazilian has already tasted life in the Championship after spending two years at fellow South Yorkshire side Barnsley between 2007-09 where he made 78 appearances.

Rovers will have to wait for international clearance before the defender who has played the majority of his career in Belgium can make his Rovers debut.

The defender has signed a contract that will keep him at the Keepmoat until February 8th 2011 and he will wear the number 25 shirt.
