DRFC Souza receives international clearance

Doncaster Rovers have received international clearance for defender Dennis Souza.

Souza has been enjoying a trial at the Keepmoat for the past month after being released by Qatar side Al-Sailiya Sports Club.

The Brazilian has already tasted life in the Championship after spending two years at fellow South Yorkshire side Barnsley between 2007-09 where he made 78 appearances.

The defender has signed a contract that will keep him at the Keepmoat until February 8th 2011 and he will wear the number 25 shirt.

We need someone strong with experience at the back, I'm not a huge fan of Shelton Martis and despite our good form we are still conceding lots of goals.
