Leo Joins Rushden

Leo Fortune-West has joined Rushden & Diamonds. The Ex-Doncaster, Cardiff, Rotherham, Gillingham, Brentford and Lincoln striker has signed a two-year deal.

The forward was released at the end of the season and guided Rovers to the Division Three Championship.

The Rushden Manager, Paul Hart said: 'From the moment I came into the job I decided that we needed an experienced striker.Leo is a striker of stature and experience and I am absolutely delighted that we have acquired his services. Not only is he a vastly experienced player, but he also has the right characteristics relative to what we want at this Club. His obvious enthusiasm and desire to continue to be challenged will, in addition, make him an ideal role model for the youngsters.'

I agree that he has vast experience, especially in the lower leagues. i'm not so sure that he's the force he once was.
