DRFC Healy extends stay

DRFC Healy extends stay

Doncaster Rovers have extended the loan of David Healy from Sunderland.

Healy will now be at the Keepmoat until the New Year and will include up to the game at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United.

The striker has played in all five of Rovers games since his arrival, scoring twice.

Healy netted the winner on his debut against Millwall and also scored the winner at Portsmouth a week later.

With club record signing Billy Sharp back to full fitness, Rovers fans will be looking forward to the prospect of Sharp and Healy leading the Rovers frontline together.

Great to see its been extended for another month. Lets hope something can be done in January.

Unless John Ryan and his board are willing to bank roll another signing similar to Billy Sharp then I feel Rovers have no chance of getting Healy full time. Sunderland are already subsidising a huge amount of his wages.
