DRFC Woods back in training

DRFC Woods back in training

Doncaster Rovers have been boosted by the return to fitness of midfielder Martin Woods.

Woods returns to training this week after missing a month with a reoccurring groin injury.

The 24 year old will be hoping to push for a place in the side for the trip to Leicester City on Saturday.

More good news on the injury front is the progression of long term injured George Friend and Simon Gillett.

Both have been out with ligament injuries since October and are now around just a month away from a return to full fitness.

The only other long term absentee James Chambers is yet to feature for Rovers this season due to a knee injury and is now just two weeks away from a return to full training.

Great to see Woods back and Friend, Gillett and Chambers aren't too far off as well. Whats happening with the young lad Mills?
